First let us introduce ourselves we are the Pogo Wizards with Canasta being our main game. Wizards Regular Games are ALL RATED; the EXCEPTION to this is FUNK GAMES. These games have Funky rules so are always UNRATED. Please make sure to read the rules page for each tourney you plan to join.

WIZARD GUIDELINES

1. Administrators have the final word. We have implemented several Administrators to help you whenever needed. Problems will be handled in private, problems are not to be handled in the lobby. This is a GAME, not a life threatening issue and the Wizards work hard to ensure you enjoy the time you spend in the rooms with the fellow Wizards. Please realize people have different personalities and daily life problems. We as administrators will keep your confidence. But ours will be the final word and we expect you to respect that decision.

2. Host determines the game being played and the game rules. When any Host is hosting, all other TD's and Staff are to let that host answer and deal with issues, such as questions and problems that may occur unless the Host asks for help from another staff member.

3. No drama in the lobby. All issues to be handled on IM, private chat or at a table.

4. Problem players

1st problem - be courteous but get your point across that behavior will not be tolerated.

Second offence - give a verbal warning.

Third offence - being boxed (means player can't play in ANY league game) for 3 days.

Fourth offence 7 day suspension.

Fifth offence player will be removed from the league.

Members are expected to respect each other and all staff.
NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE!

5. All players are welcome but ADM, HTD's and TDs from other leagues will have limited access to working around in the Wizards site. To protect the league.

6. In the event our players are ask to join the other league we want you to have the freedom and right to play where you choose.

7. No cheat programs or Auto play programs will be tolerated. If this is reported and proof is agreed upon by 3 ADM's then the player will be booted and possibly banned from the league permanently and reported to cases.

8. During a tourney the ONLY people that should be at the table are the 2 players ONLY, no watchers. HTD or Admin can go in but that is the only exception. Other than that there are
NO EXCEPTIONS PERIOD!

9. If a player jumps in a Tourney and has to leave the person will take a disqualification. Timers are implemented for reasons. Timers are set at 10 mins on the first MIA and 5 additional minutes if the player goes MIA a 2nd time for a total of 15 mins. At this point the game is given to the other player and the player that timed out is disqualified.

Our final word to you The Wizards is that this league was created out of love for the game of Canasta It is not owned by any one person. We wish you to make new friends and leave with the feeling you have been playing cards with family members. Knowing you can come back play with the same people and just have fun. In order to achieve this we need everyone to work together and not let trivial situations influence their day when we log off its back to day to day life. So let enjoy each other to the best of our ability.
